At Richardson Farms, the health and longevity of our dogs come first. Every one of our breeding dogs is fully health‑tested and DNA‑screened through Embark, the industry leader in canine genetic testing. This ensures our program never passes along preventable genetic disorders and that each pairing is chosen with intention, responsibility, and long‑term breed improvement in mind.
We are proudly affiliated with both the American Kennel Club (AKC) and the Continental Kennel Club (CKC), and we follow their standards for ethical breeding, record‑keeping, and canine care. Our commitment to transparency means families can feel confident knowing their puppy comes from healthy, well‑screened parents with verified lineage and clear genetic results.
As part of our dedication to responsible breeding, our program has also been approved by Good Dog and awarded their Certified Good Breeder badge,
recognition given only to breeders who meet high standards for health testing, ethics, and puppy care.

Testimonials
I could not be more grateful to Kayla and David for giving me and my family the best addition to our family, Opie. They kept us updated, and were very helpful and knowledgeable on him and his needs through the transition of bringing him home. We could not have picked a better fit for us than Opie and are so lucky that Richardson Family Farms blessed us with him. He truly was the best decision, and now a part of the family that we couldn’t imagine living without, and we cannot thank you all enough!
